Serelle – End User Licence Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Eyal Elbaz, Israel, who operates Serelle and writes and practises as Ayal Elbaz. Both names refer to the same person throughout.

1. What Serelle is

Serelle helps you think clearly about whether a man is right for you. It is built on the 26 pointers in the guide How to Choose the Right Man, and asks three questions about each – 78 in all. It then scores your answers against the standards the guide sets out, and tells you what the result means.

It is guidance, not a verdict, and not professional advice. Serelle is not therapy, not counselling, and not a medical or psychological service. It does not know the man, it has never met either of you, and it cannot see what you have not told it. Ayal Elbaz is a therapist of more than twenty years, and Serelle reflects that experience – but using Serelle does not make him your therapist, and no relationship of that kind is created.

Every decision about your life remains yours. A score is a reading of your own answers. It is a thing to think with, not an instruction to follow, and neither Serelle nor Ayal Elbaz is responsible for what you decide.

If you are in danger, or in distress, please contact the appropriate emergency or support service in your country. Serelle is not one.

2. Your account

You need an account to keep your evaluations. You sign in with a code sent to your email; there is no password.

Keep access to that email address. Anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

One account per person. Do not share it – your evaluations are private notes about your own life, and an account passed around is no longer private.

You must be 16 or over to use Serelle.

3. What you may do with it

You may use Serelle for your own personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a licence to do that – limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable if you break these terms.

4. The books, and why they are not yours

Serelle contains three works written by Ayal Elbaz:

• How to Choose the Right Man – the guide
• The Lost Art of Femininity
• How to Maintain a Happy Relationship

They remain his. Copyright in all three, and in Serelle itself – its questions, scoring, explanations, design and text – belongs to Ayal Elbaz and is protected by law.

Paying for a plan buys you the right to read them inside Serelle. It does not buy you the books. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, translate, or make them available to anyone else, in whole or in part, by any means. You may not extract the text, and you may not use any part of these works to train a machine-learning model.

Quoting a sentence to a friend is not what this clause is about. Republishing a chapter is.

5. The plans

Free – $0

• One evaluation, every 3 months – one kept at a time
• His overall score, and any serious caution
• Change your answers once, within 3 days
• No pointer-by-pointer detail, guide or book

Single evaluation – $4.99, once

One full evaluation, with everything Serelle can tell you about one man, kept for as long as you keep your account. One revision, within thirty days of finishing.

It is a single purchase and does not renew. It covers one man; a second evaluation needs Premium.

Premium – a subscription

Monthly $9.99 per month · Quarterly $23.99 per 3 months · Annual $59.99 per year

Unlimited evaluations, every pointer explained, the guide and both books in full, and no revision limit.

Renews automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime in your app-store account settings – cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends to avoid the next charge.

How the limits actually work

These are enforced by our systems, not left to trust:

• Finishing an evaluation is what spends your allowance. Starting one costs nothing, and you may abandon as many as you like.
• On Free, a new evaluation replaces the previous one. The replaced one is kept, not deleted, and returns if you subscribe.
• A revision is one commit, not one change: inside the window you may change as many pointers as you like, and it is spent when you save.

6. Paying

All payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy, and may vary by country and with currency and tax.

Refunds are theirs, not ours. We cannot issue one. Ask Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play. Where consumer law in your country gives you a right to cancel or be refunded, that right stands whatever this clause says.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your app-store account settings – not in Serelle, because we cannot cancel it for you.

7. What you agree not to do

Do not try to break into the service, read another person's evaluations, work around the plan limits, take the books out of the app, or use Serelle to harass or build a file on anyone.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things.

8. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app. Everything goes. A deletion does not refund an unused subscription – cancel that with Apple or Google.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop operating Serelle. If we close it for any reason other than your breach, we will refund what you have paid for a period you did not receive.

9. No warranty, and what we are liable for

Serelle is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, faultless, or that any result it gives will prove right about a man or a relationship. No outcome is guaranteed, because no one can guarantee one.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you make about your life or your relationships. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law, and in Israel and the EU you have several. Where a term here conflicts with those rights, your rights win.

10. Apple and Google

If you installed Serelle from the App Store:

• This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Serelle.
• Apple has no obligation to support or maintain it.
• If Serelle fails to conform to any warranty, tell Apple and they may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for any claim about Serelle, including product liability, any failure to meet a legal requirement, or a claim under consumer protection law.
• If a third party claims Serelle infringes their intellectual property, we are responsible for it, not Apple.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
• You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US embargo, and are not on a US prohibited parties list.

Equivalent terms apply to Google Play where required.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Serelle after that means you accept it. If you do not, delete your account.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Israel, and the competent courts of the Central District have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
